Hey Jenn! I just took a look at the Gallery script and saw that it wasn't working properly. Is that what you were talking about today at church? Anyhow, I've fixed it. You can add Galleries and photos to your blog now. Sorry for the problem. I didn't set the plugin up correctly when I updated it with the latest version.

Here are some tips to using one of the gallery plugins. First log into your Dashboard. Then click on Plugins. Find NexGen Gallery and click on Activate it. After you've activated it, you will see a new tab at the top of the Dashboard menu area called Gallery. Click on it. Then click on Add Gallery. Type in a name of a gallery - you can use a first cap letter if you wish - and click the Add Gallery button. After that, click on Upload Images. Add the images you want to your gallery or galleries. Make sure you select which gallery you want the pictures to upload into. After you've done that, you can organize your gallieries, add text to each album and add text to each picture. You can set a particular picture to be the cover of an gallery album. To create an album, click on Album, Add new album, and then grab and drag whatever galleries to whichever albums. After you've created albums, galleries and uploaded pictures, you can display albums in pages or posts. But before you do all that, if you don't wish to create albums, you can post pictures and galleries to posts and pages without creating albums. Albums are great though if you have many pictures you wish to put into one place. Say you go sightseeing a lot. You can create a Sightseeing album and throw all the sightseeing galleries into it. That way everyone viewing your site will be able to see your sightseeing pictures from whenever you go sightseeing.

To add a picture into a post just click on the icon in your WYSIWYG editor that looks like a couple of photographs slapped together. It's the NexGen Gallery icon to add pictures into your posts. You can also click on the Gallery tab under the WYSIWYG editor where you Upload pictures. All your uploaded pictures from your NexGen Gallery in listed in there.

Good luck uploading pictures, Jenn. Once you set this up, it's easy sailing and looks great. It's probably the best gallery system on the net right now for Wordpress.
